ReqSort Field Privacy Policy

ReqSort Field is an internal work app operated by Wirestack Inc. ("we"). Our field staff use it to photograph lab requisition forms and insurance cards during patient visits and send them to our office. It is not for the general public: accounts are created by our office, and you cannot sign up in the app.

What the app collects

• Account details: the username and display name our office assigns to you.
• Photos you take: lab requisition forms, insurance cards and specimen labels. These can contain patient names, dates of birth, insurance details and medical orders.
• Work activity: when each photo was taken and sent, which route stop it belongs to, and whether it was received.
• Device details: the phone's platform (iOS or Android), operating system version and an identifier the app creates when you sign in, so our office can see which phones are in use and switch one off if it is lost.

What the app does not collect

The app does not use your location, microphone, contacts or other photos on your phone. It contains no advertising, no analytics and no tracking, and we do not sell or rent any data.

How the data is protected

• Photos are encrypted on the phone before they are sent, and only our server can decrypt them.
• The app's storage on the phone is encrypted, and the app is locked with a PIN (or Face ID or a fingerprint, which are checked by the phone itself and never reach us).
• All traffic to our server uses HTTPS.
• Photos are stored on our own server, and our backups are encrypted.

How long it is kept

Photos are deleted from the phone once our server confirms they are no longer needed there. Signing out, or our office switching the phone off, deletes the app's data from the phone. On our server, records are kept as long as needed to process lab orders and to meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.

Who can see it

Only our authorized office staff, to process lab orders and billing. We may use service providers that work for us under contract, such as hosting or reading the text on a form photo, and only for that purpose. We disclose information when the law requires it. Patient information is handled as protected health information under the laws that apply to us.

Your choices

Field staff can ask our office what account data we hold about them. Patients with questions about their information should contact the office that ordered their lab work.
